Plan Administration for Medical, Dental and Vision

Advantek has partnered with the best PPO networks in the industry, which include some of the nation's finest hospitals, physicians and health care professionals. Administration includes Claims receipt, process, & payment, Eligibility maintenance, Member Services (including bi-lingual support), COB administration, On-line eligibility access & capabilities, Eligibility data export to other plan vendors & panels, Overpayment recovery, Standard monthly and year end reporting packages, Coordination with Subrogation / TPL provider.

Customized Reporting

Advantek possesses the unique ability to accommodate requests for customized reports due to our proprietary claims software and dedicated team of data management professionals. Our monthly reports are available via secure email or made accessible on-line. We offer the flexibility for the group to determine what data elements, time periods, and groups they want their reports to be based on. In addition, we are able to provide Case Management detail reports, Utilization Reports, Diabetes Management Reports, and Flexible Spending Account Reports.

Bank Account Management and Reconciliation

Individual bank accounts are set up and Advantek provides a variety of funding arrangements depending on your needs.

Consolidated Vendor Billing
By combining the required premiums and fees for each vendor (i.e. stop loss carriers, prepaid dental and vision plans, provider networks, consultants, etc.) Advantek generates one comprehensive monthly invoice that reflects all disbursements.
COBRA Administration
We integrate COBRA with our eligibility system and automatically generate letters and statements whenever a termination date or qualifying date is reported for an employee or dependent. Our eligibility system even tracks maximum dependent ages and generates COBRA notification letters to those individuals affected. Once a participant elects COBRA, we bill the participant directly by our office each month for the statutory maximum of 18, 29, or 36 months.
HIPAA Administration
Advantek has established policies and procedures and automated programs that will ensure compliance with HIPAA certification needs and up to date HIPAA privacy standards.
In-House Utilization Management with On-Site Medical Director
Advantek provides a fully integrated Utilization Management program through its own in-house staff of nurses and in-house Medical Director. Our nurses and doctor help to determine that the appropriate care for each medical condition is received. The purpose of the program is to determine medical necessity of services and what is payable by the plan.
Large Case Management
Advantek offers this program to control the costs of serious illnesses and chronic diseases. Our in-house nurses and medical director will assure that the medical services being paid for are essential, effective, and being delivered in the most cost effective manner available.
Condition Management

Our program targets diabetes through a focused approach to chronically ill patients that have the potential for treatment or lifestyle modifications. Our nurses will develop a customized plan to assist clients and employers in reducing healthcare expenditures. The plans may include patient and family education, pharmacy reviews, referrals to specialists, and providing community resources or support group information.

Flexible Spending Account Administration with Debit Card Capability
Employers can choose this type of plan to help their employees save tax dollars. The employees set aside a portion of each paycheck for out-of-pocket healthcare expenses such as co-pays, deductibles, eyeglasses, LASIK surgery, orthodontics, prescription drugs, certain over-the-counter medications, and much more. We administer and enroll the employees, with no participation requirements.
Summary Plan Document Assistance
Advantek will consult with the employer and assist in the preparation of a Plan Document. We use an outside consultant for SPD review to ensure accuracy and completeness.
